Sophrology in Meudon
Sophrology combines breathing, muscle relaxation and visualisation. It offers exercises to cope better with stress, prepare for sleep and approach important moments. At the Emolution centre, two sophrologists see clients in one-to-one sessions or group workshops.
What it involves
Sophrology is a mind-body method created in the 1960s by the neuropsychiatrist Alfonso Caycedo. It relies on simple exercises: guided breathing, releasing tension, positive visualisation.
You practise these exercises sitting or standing, fully clothed, with no physical contact. The aim is to make you independent: you leave with exercises to repeat at home, at work or before a moment that matters.

Is sophrology suitable for children?
Yes, with exercises adapted to their age. Mention it when you book.
Do I need special clothing?
No. Come in comfortable clothes: the exercises are done fully clothed, sitting or standing.
